In Buenos Aires, a man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing five girls from his family environment in the province of Santa Fe.
The individual is 32-year-old Milton David Sotelo, who committed the attacks between 2018 and 2023 at two homes in the Las Rosetas neighborhood, in the General Obligado department. Through an abbreviated trial, it was determined that the perpetrator violated the victims in a context of cohabitation and a relationship.
Sotelo admitted to the facts, for which Judge Norma Senn declared him criminally responsible for the crimes of aggravated sexual abuse; sexual abuse; aggravated sexual abuse (due to cohabitation with a minor under 18 and for being the guardian in two repeated cases) and aggravated sexual abuse (due to cohabitation with a minor under 18 and for being the guardian in two repeated cases).
Furthermore, one of the victims reported the events to personnel from the Municipality of Avellaneda, which led to the filing of the corresponding complaint and the arrest of the individual involved.
